June Holidays 2022: 10 Kids Activities to do in Singapore

School’s finally out! With kids at home this entire month, it’s time to bring them out for learning outside of the classroom, and for some family-friendly fun. Here is a list of 10 things that are guaranteed to be educational, enriching, exciting and enjoyable for the kiddos, happening exclusively this June Holidays! Catch them before they’re all over!


1. Enjoy the Children’s Season programmes at the National Museum of Singapore

Visit the National Museum with your young one to learn more about Singapore’s early settlers such as a rickshaw puller, amah, rubber tapper, food peddler and dhobi through interactive installations and a fun-filled range of programmes! These include a special character trail, an interactive theatre workshop and rubber stamp carving workshops. 2. Hang out with Snoopy in the snow at Changi Airport

Snow City is no longer the only place where one can experience snow in Singapore! From now to 11 July 2022, the Peanuts Snow Hangout at Changi Airport Terminal 3 allows you to experience winter in a double-storey snowhouse! Featuring a snow luge, snow slide, snow excavators and wonderful photo-ops, it’s going to be a snowing fun time! Book your tickets now at the official Changi Airport website.

3. Visit the Gardens by the Bay Children’s Festival

Gardens by the Bay’s Children’s Festival 2022 comes with a theme of Around the World with Kiztopia, where it features giant inflatables of iconic landmarks around the world right here in Singapore at the Supertree Grove. Let you and your child’s imagination roam free as you roam around the exhibition, and take many memorable photos on board the inflatables! Visiting the landmarks is free, and it also features a free activity trail for kids, but there are two ticketed activity zones which feature carnival games and craft activities. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Klook.

4. Explore the Brickman Wonders of the World LEGO Exhibition at Science Centre Singapore

Is your child a LEGO fan? This exhibition at the Science Centre showcases iconic monuments and architecture from all around the world, including the Great Pyramids, Empire State Building, the Great Barrier Reef and the Golden Gate Bridge! As an interactive exhibition, it also allows visitors to build their very own LEGO masterpieces! The exhibition will last from 25 March to 3 July 2022. 5. Play your heart out at D’Marquee, Downtown East

Hearsay that inflatable bouncy castles, obstacle courses and funfair rides are a child’s dream. Make that dream into reality by visiting D’Marquee, a popup indoor playground at Downtown East from 7 May to 9 August 2022. Featuring 8 challenging obstacle castles, an inflatable ballpit, VR shooting game and more, it will be a day of guaranteed fun where your children’s motor skills will also be put to the test. 6. Put on your explorer hats for Jurassic June at the Singapore Discovery Centre

Is your child a little explorer who loves dinosaurs? Visit the Singapore Discovery Centre for a ROARing good time this June holiday! Featuring educational Dino Hunt trails, dino-centric craft activities, movie showing and interactive Dino explorer shows, you’re bound to learn more about history’s most fearsome creatures. 7. Explore the World of Nickelodeon Singapore 2022

Head down to Nickelodeon’s first ever entertainment centre in Singapore. Bring your kids to meet their favourite cartoon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in-person! The indoor play centre, located at Marina Square, features an array of fun activities including bumper cars, a slime lounge, a Dora train, an obstacle course and interactive games immersed in the worlds of Nickelodeon shows! Not to mention, there are frequent character meet-and-greet sessions! Get your tickets before they end on 19 June on Sistic.

8. Return to iLight Singapore 2022

iLight Singapore is back to light up Marina Bay! Not only will the family be able to see 20 enthralling light installations, created by artists from 14 different nations, this year’s iLight festival comes with an exciting lineup of family friendly programmes. These include multi-sensory activities enmeshed within the light installations, which will take you on an immersive experience. Admissions start at $8 per pax, with discounts available for groups of 4 and up. Book them here before the event ends on 26 June!

9. GastroBeats 2022

Foodies and music-loving mummies and daddies rejoice! Held in conjunction with iLight Singapore is the GastroBeats food village, an urban lifestyle playground with food, music and entertainment options for the entire family at Bayfront Event Space. It features two food sections, Local Streets and Culinary Masters, with a plethora of food options to suit your palette and budget! There will also be live music featuring an eclectic mix of local artists, as well as children’s entertainment activities including a huge food-themed bouncy castle carnival. 10. Take workshops at the Science Centre

Besides the LEGO exhibition, the Science Centre offers a multitude of enrichment programmes over the school holidays. These include astronomy lessons and observations, science programmes over a range of different topics, and parent-child educational workshops targeted at kids of different age groups!
